The Bloorcourt dress features an A-line bodice that falls to the knee, side seam pockets, ¾ length sleeves with cuffs, and a funnel neckline. It sews together quite quickly, and because of the flowing silhouette, will fit a variety of body shapes. The dress looks great with a belt, but can also be comfortably worn loose.
Belt not included.
The pattern works best with sweater knits, but can also look good in thicker jersey knit fabrics. Any sweater or jersey knit fabric with a minimum 25% horizontal stretch is suitable for this project.
The pattern is available in sizes XS-2X, fitting bust sizes 32-49”.
*A ½” seam allowance is included but not marked on the pattern. Any variances from that ½” seam allowance will be clearly mentioned.
*The pattern pieces for front and back bodice are nested to save printing space. You can either trace the pattern pieces onto drafting paper, or you can print the pattern twice to cut them out separately.
*2.75-3.25 yards of knit fabric, with standard knit fabric width of 58”
*Ball point machine needles
*Drafting paper to trace the pattern pieces
